Edna Hanscom lives and does her art work in the hills above the Rogue Valley in Southern Oregon.  She has been doing art since her teens.  She became serious about her art after taking a class through the Pacific Bible College and learning her art is truly a gift from God to be used.

Edna’s favorite media is oil however she uses acrylic, pastel, charcoal, and gouache.  Her intent is to have feeling and a message in her works.

She has taken  classes from  Richard Grove, Karen Cain Smith  and Steve Bennett in Jacksonville.  She has shown her paintings at First Baptist Church, Trail Christian Fellowship, the Whistle Stop and the Upper Rogue Artist show.
