Ginny Matheson lives and works in Medford but her earliest art training was in Michigan.  Although her early work was in stone and wood carving, Ginny began to focus on two-dimensional media when she moved to Indiana and took more training in drawing, painting, and collage.

By 2004 she had begun to exhibit her work at art festivals across the Midwest. Upon arrival in Oregon, she soon began exhibiting at art festivals, galleries, and restaurants across Oregon, focusing primarily on the breathtaking scenery of the Pacific Northwest.  Her work is regularly shown at Art du Jour Gallery and Avamere HFC in Medford, Rosso’s Trattoria in Grants Pass, and now at the Rim Village Visitor’s Center at Crater Lake.

Some of Ginny’s work can also be viewed online at www.MathesonArts.com.
