Kelly Anderson

I have an innate need to create. It’s the only time my mind is at peace and time doesn’t exist. Painting florals with rich colors and textures, playing in the oils with my fingers and a palette knife, relaxes me and has helped manage high blood pressure.

I’ve been sharing happy wall art since 2005, displaying work in downtown Medford stores and galleries. Leaving Oregon briefly, I exhibited work in Florida boutiques and expanded my custom business, which included landscapes, corporate logos and characters, dogs, people, abstracts and florals. My paintings hang in Oregon, Wisconsin, Idaho, Florida, Hawaii, Indiana, Colorado, Minnesota, California, Texas, Washington, and Louisiana. For a tightly wound perfectionist, painting is like taking in a long cleansing breath and then slowly releasing all the nonsense of the mind.
